2nd Project...What It Means To Persevere

Reflection:

This story is about my son Jordan. Jordan through his own merit is learning the meaning of perseverance. This biography is of him developing his own personal growth by not wanting to give up because of his adversity (fear of accidents).

Erick Erikson's theory of psychosocial development is being demonstrated as Jordan progresses into the Latency Stage of achievement and accomplishment (Identity vs. Inferiority) phase of his life.

After Jordan subjugated his fear, he said he was so happy and elated that he stuck to a challenge and conquered it. His resolution and motto towards facing any challenge is to conquer your fears first, and then you can conquer any challenge.

My audience is anyone who feels paralyzed because of an adversity, and anyone that needs the extra encouragement to keep persevering.

1st Project.......Self Fulfillment

Reflection:

This was a very interesting and challenging project for me. I experienced a great amount of technical difficulties with uploading my two-column table and story map, so I had to get creative! I used powerpoint to draw my story map. I then saved the story map as a Jpeg file and uploaded to my blog. For the two-column story, I used scribd.com. In this autobiography, I strived to demonstrate my personal growth towards realizing that choosing a career path that makes me happy was very important to me. I attempted to develop a story that demonstrated my personal career growth through a radical change. The consequences of my action toward an unpromped career change have evolved me as a risk taker in which has resulted in a stronger sense of where I want to go within my career. The choice I made to quit a job at the peek of success within the facility in order to strive for happiness, represented an emotional benefit which makes my decision well worth it.

My audience is anyone who believes that being happy in your career is more important than just having a job. Also, anyone that feels that they could get something meaningful out of my story.
